High efficiency Boiers supplied and
Full Central Heating supply and installation , from beginning to end. New propery's to old, small to large systems, we can design and install everything to a very high standard
Only High efficiecy Boilers can, and will be installed. The latest generation Boilers are SEDBUK A Rated at 98% efficient, saving you Gas, and money.
Gas, Oil, and Electric Boilers can be specified to proide the heat source,
For the heat emmiters, Radiators or Underfloor heating can be installed, with heating cotrols to the highest specification

Our Gas-Safe registered engineers will conduct an initial survey and will present a detailed quotation prior to commencing woks.
Solar Heat and Power
Solar thermal (Hot water) and Electricity
Solar thermal consists of normally, 2 Roof mounted panels, a Twin coil Hot water Cylinder and a small pump / control panel. The fluid is heated by solar energy and transferred to your domestic hot water via the Cylinder. This system can provide free hot water for a large part of the year, It also reduces the Boilers requirement to winter heating use only. Under The RHI The tarrif for Solar Thermal will be 19.2p per kWh
Solar Electricity or photovoliac normally consists of up to 20 roof mounted panels, each generating small amounts of power (around 1/4 Kw/H).
The power not used by the household is then fed back into the national Grid and then refunded via the 'Feed in Tarrif'
At Jan 2014 the FIT rate is 4.64p per kWh, reviewed every 3 Months.

Upgrading your old Boiler to a newer High Eficiency model is one of our main services, from removing an old Back boiler or Solid fuel burner, to re-newing your out of date wall mouted model.
Kirbys can supply and install Combination, System and Heat only Boiers.
'Combi' Boilers supply Heating, and instant hot water when a Tap is opened, and are suitable for small to medium homes.
System and Heat only Boilers supply Heating, and Hot water to a Cylinder, these are more suited to larger homes with multiple Bathrooms
Our fully quaified Heating engineers and Electricians will complete all the works quickly, efficiently and with great care for your furniture, fittings and decor.
Renewables & the RHI
Ground and air source heat pumps
The 'Renewable Heat initive' is the Governments flagship plan to drive forward the use of renewables.
Heat from the ground is absorbed at low temperatures into a fluid inside a loop of pipe (a ground loop) buried underground. The fluid then passes through a compressor that raises it to a higher temperature, which can then heat water for the heating and hot water circuits of the house. The cooled ground-loop fluid passes back into the ground where it absorbs further energy from the ground in a continuous process as long as heating is required.
Normally the loop is laid flat or coiled in trenches about two metres deep, but if there is not enough space in your garden you can install a vertical loop down into the ground to a depth of up to 100 metres for a typical domestic home.
Heat pumps have some impact on the environment as they need electricity to run, but the heat they extract from the ground, the air, or water is constantly being renewed naturally.
